Your adventure will begin from Afionas, a tiny picturesque village renowned as one of the few remaining traditional Greek communities. Bask in the opulent views that surround you with the horseshoe bay of St George and the headland of Paleokastritsa to your one side, matched by sweeping views out towards Arillas, San Stefanos and the Diapontia Islands on the other.
Hidden beneath this cliff top village is the stunning double sided bay of Porto Timoni. These secluded bays are your next destination, with the journey not recommended for the faint of heart, however your efforts will be duly rewarded as you reach the crystal clear waters where you will have free time to enjoy your surroundings and take a dip. Upon your accent from the bays you will stroll through Afionas, famous for its charm and colourful cobble streets.
Take another well earned break at the cliff top cafe offering panoramic birds eye views before starting your descent to Arillas.
Once you have reached Arillas you can choose to complete the walk over the headlands to San Stefanos or opt for a minibus ride back.
We must state that this walk is only recommended for advanced walkers as you will encounter steep and uneven ground which will require skillful maneuvering.
ARILLAS BREWERY TOUR

For those with a thirst for knowledge, of beer making that is, we have just what you need to quench your curiosity. Take a relaxing 20 minute stroll from San Stefanos up to the brewery in Arillas where you will have a guided tour of the factory to see how the beer is made complete without a tasting session of all the lagers and beers on offer. On your return journey, you will take an alternative route home walking along a winding country road offering panoramic views of both San Stefanos and Arillas bays.
CLIFF TOP VIEWS & COASTLINE CRUISE

Combine an awe-inspiring walk with a breathtaking cruise along the North West coast. Depart San Stefanos on foot and follow the rural path overlooking the rock formations known as Cape Drastis, then trek along the cliff top with outstanding views of the Diapontia Islands to Canal D’Amour meaning the Channel of Love. These famous sandstone cliffs harbour stunning coves and hidden beaches and legend has it that if you swim through the channel you will meet your true love on the other side. From here it’s plain sailing, literally as you cruise back to San Stefanos admiring the coastline from an alternative perspective.
RURAL MONASTERY WALK

Explore the magnificent countryside and absorb the calming aura that seems to encircle this 14th Century Monastery located in Magoulades. Visit the hilltop church of Saint Theodore and walk back to San Stefanos via Stousa surrounded by greenery and olive groves as well as scattered orange and lemon trees that add a welcome boost of colour to the landscape. A freshly prepared picnic of sandwiches, fruit and water is included within the price.
