Q: Is there a cash point in San Stefanos?
A: Yes, outside the Thomas Bay Hotel.
Q: How long is the transfer from the airport to San Stefanos?
A: Approximately 45 mins
Q: Is there a pharmacy near by?
A: The nearest pharmacy is in the next village of Avliotes, or after that Sidari.
Q: What time do I have to check out of my room?
A: In accordance with international convention, check out time is 12:00 midday. Sometimes it is possible to keep your room longer but only as long as new arrivals are arriving in the evening. Please check with us in the office 2 days before departure.
Q: Which swimming pool can I use?
A: You are welcome to use any pool in San Stefanos, none of them are private. Just remember that it is common courtesy not to take your own food and drink with you but you can purchase snacks and refreshments at the pool bar.
Q: Do I need a license to hire a boat?
A: No, the boats are all 30HP and under and for this you do not need a license. Full instruction is given on boat procedures.
Q: What time is the office open?
A: MON-SAT: 09:00 - 22:30 SUNDAYS: 10:00 - 14:00 & 18:00 - 22:00
Q: What is included in the price if I hire a car?
A: Everything including delivery, full insurance and Corfu road map. All you have to pay extra for is the petrol.

Q: Which Airport is closest to San Stefanos?
A: Erm, the one in Corfu Town, which is actually the only airport on the Island!
Q: When I draw out money from the cash point will it give me Pounds?
A: It will give you Euros Sir, as this is the currency here in Greece!
Q: Could you tell me if the Sea in Thessaloniki (Mainland Greece) is hot or cold?
A: Erm I think its only hot at the weekend!
Q: Hi, we are going home a week today, could you tell me if there are any delays?
A: O hold a minute, I'll just consult my crystal ball!!
Q: Does Corfu have a moon, because we haven't seen one since we've been here?
A: Last time we checked there was!
Q: I am going shopping for my holidays tomorrow, can you please let me know what size suitcase to buy?
A: Well, as we specialize in tourism and not suitcase sizes, I suggest you buy a "normal size" suitcase. You are only allowed to bring 20kgs anyway!
Q: I bought an ice-cream down the road and on the menu it said €4. Why did I pay €9?
A: We are a travel shop, why don't you go back to where you had your ice-cream and ask them there?!!
Q: We've hired a boat for the day. Where do I fill up the petrol if we run out?
A: In the middle of the sea there is a floating petrol pump, there is a man in a wetsuit with a canoe in attendance, he will fill it up for you!
Q: Can you show me on the map how to get to Majorca?
A: Erm, I can show you the way to Corfu Town if that's any help?!!
Q: Do you have a tidetable for the sea?
A: If one ever existed then maybe yes! We are in the Mediterranean, there isn't a tide!
Q: That power cut we had last night. Was it a world wide thing?
Q: Is the price on the excursion list per person?
A: No, its per arm and leg!
Q: So the price includes bringing us back as well does it?
A: Yes...as long as you make it back to the bus/boat at the right time and not the next day!!
Q: I've bought a new watch today so I was wondering, will I have to pay import tax on it when I go back to the UK?
A: Well, if you wear it I'm sure no one will notice!
Q: When you hire a motorbike, do they buy new helmets to give to everyone each time?
A: No, because you have to give them back with the bike!
